Introduction

The Ministry of the Archangels Michael, Raphael and Gabriel (MAMRG) is a nonprofit, non-denominational medical charity dedicated to providing medical assistance to impoverished women and teens regarding their reproductive health.

No Essure Platforms

Through its affiliation with Novoa Medical Services, the ministry accepts donations for the maintenance and promotion of all No Essure platforms including No Essure Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and www.noessure.com.

The mission of the No Essure platforms are to promote safe and effective management of complications associated with the Essure Permanent Birth Control System manufactured by Bayer Corporation as well as concerns with the side effects and complications of other implants such as abdominal mesh, vaginal mesh, urethral slings, Filshie clips, Hulka clips and Falope bands.

Contraceptive Management Program

Through its affiliation with Novoa Medical Services and the Novoa Women and Teen Center, the ministry is able to assistance with pre-conception counseling, contraceptive counseling, free pregnancy tests, reduced-cost sexually transmitted infection (STI) screening, reduced-cost HPV and Pap smear screening, free condoms, no charge medical screening and prescriptions for birth control, and no charge intrauterine device (IUD) removal.

LIFE CHOICE Program

The ministry believes that the greatest expression of love for the Lord and life is to make a LIFE CHOICE. As such the ministry's primary mission is to promote motherhood as a choice of life when faced with the challenges of an unexpected pregnancy and LIFE as the choice instead of abortion.

An estimated one thousand elective abortions are performed every year in El Paso, or approximately three per day. Although we would hope that all mothers would make a LIFE CHOICE, our goal is to reduce the number of abortions to less than half per year.

From your donations, mothers accepted into the program will be given assistance with the cost of prenatal care in hopes that they will choose to continue with their pregnancy rather than have an abortion. Postnatal care include abstinence and contraceptive counseling, parenting counseling, and adoption assistance.

Free pregnancy tests, abstinence and contraception counseling, pre-conception counseling, STD screenings, and adoption assistance are also available.

Dr. Julio Cesar Novoa MD, an international recognized patient advocate, directs the program with the purpose of providing the highest quality of medical care in a compassionate evidence-based medicine format.

MAMRG differs from traditional medical and religious programs by providing unbiased, truthful and complete medical information regarding all aspects of female health, conception, contraception, pregnancy, delivery and postpartum care. The documented accountability of medical management with careful supervision by a licensed obstetrician sets us apart from other programs. With over 20 years of experience as an OBGYN and having delivered over 5,000 babies, Dr. Novoa is uniquely qualified in the management of high risk and teen pregnancies.

As a nonpartisan medical charity, we work closely with our local teen centers and welcome the support of all faiths and religions as the ultimate expression of our humanity and God's love.

BABY MOSES, SAFE HAVEN Assistance Program

Baby Moses, Safe Haven Law

Under this law, if you have a newborn that you are unable to care for, you can bring your baby to a designated safe place with no questions asked. The Safe Haven law, also known as the Baby Moses law, gives parents who are unable to care for their child a safe and legal choice to leave their infant with an employee at a designated safe place—a hospital, fire station, free-standing emergency centers or emergency medical services (EMS) station. Then, your baby will receive medical care and be placed with an emergency provider.

The Baby Moses, Safe Haven law is specifically designed to support parents in making the responsible decision of giving their baby to child services without the fear of prosecution for abandonment or neglect. The ministry is here to assistant in this transition with counseling, support and assistance in making this difficult but important choice for the benefit of your baby.

Information for Parents
If you are thinking about bringing your baby to a designated Safe Haven, the following are important points to consider:

Your baby must be 60 days old or younger and unharmed and safe.
You may take your baby to any hospital, fire station, emergency medical services (EMS) station or designated child-agency in Texas.
You need to give your baby to an employee who works at one of these safe places and tell this person that you want to leave your baby at a Safe Haven.
You may be asked by an employee for family or medical history to make sure that your baby receives the care they need.
You may designate a representative that can bring your baby to a Safe Haven location on your behalf. Although the ministry is not a Safe Haven location, we will assist you in taking your baby to a Safe Haven location or act as your representative and bring your baby to a safe haven location on your behalf.

Remember, If you or your representative leave your unharmed infant at a Safe Haven location or ask us to assistance you as your representative in bringing your infant to a safe haven location, you will not be prosecuted for abandonment or neglect.

The mission of our ministry is to provide healthcare to mothers and their unborn children in the Abrahamic religious traditions as represented by the Archangels Michael, Raphael and Gabriel in the service of God.

The mission of the ministry includes:

promotion of abstinence as a responsible method of family planning
education on natural family planning and other forms of birth control
education on methods of permanent birth control and vasectomy
education on sexually transmitted infections, including HIV
promotion of motherhood as a choice with unexpected pregnancy
the reduction in the incidence of abortion
assistance in preventing abandonment or neglect to the newborn
promotion of natural birth and vaginal delivery
promotion of vaginal birth after Cesarean section (VBAC)
the reduction in the incidence of unnecessary Cesarean section
